I'm not going to sugar coat this: I've had a shitty week. It started last Tuesday, and culminated in a giant tantrum yesterday afternoon. I won't go into details, but I'm hoping the cloud of doomy doom is lifting.
We will not be welcoming little red doggie girl into our home, which is very disappointing, (and not my decision, and may have contributed to the afore-mentioned giant tantrum yesterday) but it is what it is, and I know she will find a good home after meeting her and speaking at length with her foster mommy.
In knitting news, I am making hats. 2008 has been the year of the hat in my knitting world, and honestly, as much as I like knitting hats, I really want 2009 to be less about the hats. You can't beat hats for holiday knitting though. Here's a few recent FO's that will be gifted this year.
I'm in a race against the clock to finish up the last of my holiday knits, and then? I'm knitting myself a sweater. Out of Malabrigo. I think that should help me wash away the hat madness.

cute hats. the second one looks like a hat/scarf combo...yes? Sorry to hear about the dog. Not that this will help, but now sam can still be the only child (when cricket isnt around). Chin up little cowgirl.----I love that saying---
Go see TWILIGHT...it will make things all better, I promise!

A sweater from malabrigo should make anyone's life a little better! Sorry you had a melt down. But sometimes it all has to come out that way.

Dude...the hat on the right cracks me up. I must know who that is for.
And I agree with Steph...go see it. Just do it. It will cheer you up. Then call me about it ;)
