Rocky Road*
As much as I'd like to be at work, finishing things up and making sure everything is good to go before my last day, it is just not in the cards. I've been climbing the walls here at home for two days, hanging out with my good buddy, Mr. Kidney Stone. This is the first time I've ever missed work while passing a stone; it's pretty bad.
Because I am unable to sit and do nothing, or you know, REST, I've been keeping myself busy.
I've been knitting....
reading....
making jam with the wild mulberries we picked last weekend....
spending time with some very important loved ones....
And the mailman has brought me some fun stuff the past few days....
Rav Swag
(of COURSE it's a Disagree shirt...you'd expect me a sarcastic thing like me to get an Agree shirt??!)
A ring I had made to celebrate my new job/closing a chapter of my life/making big changes...custom made by the insanely talented Kathryn Riechert
If it weren't for the excruciating pain I'm having intermittently, this would be just as good as a vacation.
*I'm soooo punny.

I don't know how you're managing to make jam in that much pain! Can I tell you I'm jealous of you finding a new job? I could use one of those. :) Hope you pass that stone!

Uhmmm...why weren't you IMing me?! Just kidding. I know, I am a bit needy these days. What can I say? i don't have much else going on.
I love that womans jewelry. I've seen it around before and I totally want to get something customized for me. Mauybe I should get a ring that says "needy bitch". What does yours mean? I hope you didn't take my idea :)

Wow, I just caught up. I only hate my job when my worthless co-worker takes vacations during the closing of the month (accounting office) which she has done 3 times in the 6 months she has been there. Okay, really? I HATE her, in that once a month-PMS way, it would seem...
Where was I? Right, catching up and YEY socks! I too have finally finished a pair that have been lingering for ages...and yet I'm not sure when they will be posted about...and being ecstatic for you and yet hoping you are pain free sooner than later.

Oof!!! kidney stones are supposed to be worse than labor. Poor girl! Sadly, you're still more productive than me!

How funny! Alis volat propriis is the motto of the state of Oregon (where I live).
