I have the worst timing ever

Just a smidge over a week until vacation. You know what that means, right?

I'm sick. Rockin' a sore throat, fever, runny noses, aches, chills, the works.  I'm not thrilled about missing work today, especially since I feel too bad to do anything other than lie around and feel crappy....that means no knitting, no reading, not even any TV watching. The combination of NyQuil, homemade chicken soup, and sheer willpower will have me well in time to fly though. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

And hey, you guys? Is there going to be anything left of California next week? My thoughts are with all y'all, hope everyone is safe and secure.

Well, let's hope so! As long as it doesn't start raining, there should be some interesting burnt hills to see!

And wouldn't you know, where you're here, I'll be in Paris! :(

    Feel better soon!

the fires will most likely be out by the time you get here. Just don't expect a perfectly clean house when you come over. The dust and ash has covered everything....YUCK!

Hope you feel better soon. Try airborne at the first start of ickyness, followed by vitamen c, green tea with lemon, saline spray, tons of hand and pillowcase washings, and long-distance internet hugs.

Have fun in California, bring the nasal spray to help get sootiness out of your nose.

    /end nurse-rantings :)

    Feel better!
