Blog Birthday CONTEST!!!!! UPDATED! Deadline extended!

As you can tell by the last post, B and I had a lot of fun last Thursday. What a show. It was amazing. Yeah. I love rum.

In my slightly hungover stupor the following day, I neglected to mark my third blogivesary! Happy Blogiversary to me! Blogging has truly enriched my life in many ways, and I am so thankful to all y'all who drop by my little corner of the innernets to see what I'm up to. I've been able to stay in touch with family and friends, make new friends, improve my knitting in a crazy way, and learn all kinds of things about knitting, crafting and life in general during my short time in the blogosphere. I love the sense of community I've found among knitters, crocheters, spinners, and other fiber arts enthusiasts and have had so many great experiences in the time I've been blogging, I really want to give a little something back as a way to say thanks. So, In honor of being three blog years old, I've decided to have a contest.

Here's the deal:

You enter the contest. If you win, you get a prize. Pretty simple, no?

The grand prize winner will get to choose a lil' somethin' from my sock yarn stash......to wear on their feet. If you win, you will receive a pair of hand knit socks, especially for you, from me. You'll have your choice of three patterns, Hedera, Monkey, or plain vanilla stockinette. You'll get to choose which of the following yarns you'd like to have your socks made from:

From l to r:  Zen Yarn Garden BFL in Blue Ice, Lime & Violet in Jantzen Horses, Fleece Artist Merino in Rose Garden, and STR medium weight in Puck's Mischief.

The socks will be cast on shortly after a contest winner is selected, and I will have them to you by November 15th, just in time to keep your feet toasty for winter.

I'm gonna make you work for this one. This is what I like to call a selfish scavenger hunt. Over the past three years of blogging, I've put all kinds of bits and pieces of me out there on the Internet. You gotta find some of 'em.

The rules:

Submissions are due by 12pm EST, TUESDAY OCTOBER 2nd.  The person with the most correct answers wins the prize. If there is a tie, the winner will be selected by a random number generator.

Ha...I was actually going to say that I'd have to look a few of them up. But it's ok. I already have 2 gorgeous pairs of socks from you, therefore I already know what an awesome knitter you are. Let's let someone else in on the secret ;)
