Whew. That little blogging hiatus was totally accidental. I meant to post last week, and then, well, you know how it goes. Life happens.
I will have actual knitting content this week, I mean it. The Jackson scarf (Chevron Scarf in Cider Moon's June Carter and Johnny Cash colorways) is done, the Panda Footies are done, the modified mini-sweater will be done tomorrow night, and I learned to crochet granny squares. See? Fiberly pursuits are still happenin' over here. Just going un-blogged.
I scored a spot in the Yarn Pirate Booty Club, which made me feel both triumphant and giddy. Then, when the yarn fumes died down and the high wore off, I felt a bit guilty for buying MORE YARN. Just for a minute though. The feeling passed. I love yarn, and I don't care who knows.
My sister was in town over the weekend and it was wonderful to see her. I cannot believe it's been two months. Friday, B and I are making the trip to her place for the weekend. Lemme show you the view from her and her man's apartment building: clickety click here. B and I aren't big on laying on the beach (um, because I could start my own booty club if ya know what I mean) but we've got lots of plans for the weekend. I'm so excited...B and I haven't been on a weekend trip or any kind of vacation in over a year.
I do have a few Monday Loves today. Shall we?
Paperback Swap-After reading about this on about a trillion blogs, I had to check it out. It's fantastic!
Scout's new color-Y'all know I'm a huge Kill Bill fan. Huuuuge. Must have this. Must. (Also? Scout could kick my ass. Look at those arms. Damn, woman!)
Patagonia Nature Cotton-This is what I am knitting my modified mini-sweater with. Love this stuff.
The cutest lingerie and sleepwear is here. Swoon, indeed.
A late lunch of Gnocchi Romano, fresh baked crusty bread, and a green salad at a hole-in-the-wall Italian joint around the corner from work. Yummy.
I'm keeping it short today, as I have lots of work I need to get done before quittin' time. Have a fabulous Monday!

Wow. That paperback swap site sounds great. I don't have a lot of books to give away (I'm a big library user) but, boy oh boy, my mom sure does. Thanks for the link.

Ha! It's a lot of work and not a lot of fun!
And I'm built like my dad who was a football player. SERIOUSLY!
