Suhopolje, Croatia. (Any Croatian speakers out there who can help me with the correct pronunciation?) I finally found my great grandmothers immigration records, and the village she came from still exists. This is thrilling for me and my family as we have tons of info on the other side of the family tree, but nothing on this side. I made this discovery last week, and it was an incredible feeling....seeing her name on a piece of paper brought me more joy than I ever though possible.
Grumperina. We all loves us some Grumpy, right? Check it out, I submitted my Jaywalkers to her gallery and won a prize for being the 650th pair to be submitted. So cool!
My newly organized, newly rearranged, spring cleaned house. I'd show you pictures, but alas, the camera is at home.
Heather Bailey's studio pics. I know they've been all over the knitting/crafting/sewing blogs lately, but I keep coming back to them. The colors, the organization, I love it all.
Speaking of sewing/crafting blogs, I'm a fan of several wonderful new-to-me blogs.
I love Pepperknit's sock patterns. I've knit Anastasia, and have plans for Zokni. This new pattern looks fantastic as well.
Have you ever seen a Shiba Inu?? I think this ties into my fox obsession. SO CUTE.
These tabs by Circa Ceramics are very cool.
I'll soon be re-decorating my current (or possibly a new) kitchen, and am going with a Dia de los Muertos/Mexican art type vibe. This etsy seller has got me drooling.
I'll be posting tattoo pics for Scout's tattoo meme this evening!
One more thing before I go.....Eve needs your help! Go on over and help her out with a study she is conducting. There may even be yarn in it for you!

This reminds me to curse/thank you for turning me on to ancestry.com where I traced MY fam back to the 1500's. Way cool. BUT we are stuck with one branch and my trial sub ran out. Do you pay the $100 annual fee or are there ways around it. Seems steep to me. please advise. my grandpa wants to find out where he came from.

Hey, if you go to my blog and look at my links, there is one called Stay at Home Knitter. That's Sandra, and she's a Croatian in Croatia. She could help you out with the Croatian name.

Damn you for linking all of those other blogs. I think I just wasted a good hour looking at all of those.
But you redeemed yourself for reminding me of the name of those dogs. They are EVERYWHERE in this one area of Fullerton/La Habra that I used to read for the Gas Co.
